How We Compare Tools

ToolBuyerHub comparisons start by defining the job and the fields that decide success for that job. We then compare like-for-like US configurations using manufacturer evidence. Battery platforms, included accessories, dimensions, safety ratings and service support are treated as first-class decision factors rather than footnotes.

Where we publish a ToolBuyerHub Research Score, the score is reproducible from visible criteria. Our default weighting: task fit 25, verified specification fit 20, safety/compatibility 15, build/serviceability 15, owner-feedback themes 10, US support/availability 10, and value 5. Missing evidence lowers confidence; it is never replaced with a guess.
